Zimbabwe’s most anticipated lifestyle and cross-networking event, The PiChani was held this
past weekend in Bulawayo under the theme Tani Za Dunia which translates to Perfect in Earth
Tones. The platform which is held annually to integrate young leaders and achievers from
different sectors of influence, such as civic, medical, finance, creative, diplomatic,
agriculture and entrepreneurial, presented a well-palleted program featuring a curated menu
by a Zimbabwean popular Chef and Mixologist - Ashler Jaya, performances by Award-Winning
Plumtree born - Dj Yugoe, Vera, Kinah The Music, Thuba Mangena, Dj CP, No Name Dance Crew
and Botswana based - Kusterr.
Each year, The PiChani hosts over 130 guests who get an opportunity to serial network over a
well curated event of food, drinks, entertainment and exhibitions. Explaining this year's
theme, Curator - Gilmore Tee, described it as “being able to embrace one's uniqueness, each
other and also being grounded”. The event which has been running for the past 6 years has
resulted in guests coming into Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, from across the African region. This
year, one of Africa’s top female Djs, Lerato Kganyago was in attendance.
